The Story Behind Dream Renting
“I came up with the idea of Dream Renting to help military vets injured in the line of duty, kids with terminal illness and other families that that need a break in life. To do this I am using my vacation property in Huntington Beach to host dream vacation free of charge. If you have a vacation home please consider joining me and listing your property here and simply use an un-booked week to help someone less fortunate. You can make a big difference in someone’s life.” – Luke Peters, Founder & CEO Dream Renting
Dream Renting encourages vacation rental homeowners to utilize an unbooked week at their home to host a family that needs a break in life. Dream Renting has worked to host many families of Non-profits and has been able to really make a difference in the lives of the families he has hosted.
You can help us give those who have put their lives on the line, who have overcome extreme hardship or are battling a terminal illness.
“Honestly, I feel like a whole new man! It has been incredible to adjust to my new normal here at “Surf City Palace” where I don’t have to think about upcoming surgeries, procedures, appointments, therapy and hardships.

“The results of this trip will never be able to be measured as I was able to connect just a little bit with all of my family in ways that I haven’t been able to do for years. By finding this connection with my family is something I will never be able to repay.”- Sargent Shawn Lengeman, U.S. Army Ret.
